Peace Within
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
Advent invites us to quiet our hearts and let God’s peace rule within. The Advent candles burn softly, inviting us to pause. In the quiet glow, we are reminded that peace is not found in the absence of noise or trouble but in the presence of Christ. When our hearts become restless, Advent whispers: “Be still.”
What It Is
Peace within is God’s gift to guard our hearts and minds, anchoring us in His presence at all times. Peace is the calm assurance that God is in control, even when life feels uncertain.
What It Is Not
Peace is not the absence of problems or the denial of pain. Genuine and everlasting peace is not found in the world, but in God and the things relating to God.
Call for Action
Practice stillness today. Pause, breathe, and invite God’s peace into your thoughts.
“May you” Blessings
May you be guarded by God’s peace, steady in heart and mind. May you recognize and embrace the peace within. May your thoughts be steady, your spirit calm, and your soul anchored in Christ’s presence.
Pray This Prayer
Lord, calm my anxious spirit. Let Your peace reign within me today. Amen.
