Love in Action
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” – 1 John 3:18
God’s love calls us beyond sentiment to action. Love is often described as one of the most profound human emotion, encompassing a range of feelings, behaviors, and experiences. Love shapes how we should live, speak, and serve.
What Love Is
• Love is acts of kindness, seen and unseen.
• Love is forgiveness extended even when it’s hard.
• Love reflects God’s heart.
What Love Is Not
• Love is not passive.
• Love is not just a feeling. It is also a practice that requires effort and commitment.
• “Love does not envy or boast” (1 Corinthians 13:4)
Call to Action
Look for a tangible way to show love today, whether to a family member, friend, neighbor, or even a stranger.
Blessings
May you experience the joy of loving and being loved in concrete ways.
Pray This Prayer
Lord, help me love others as You love me. When I can’t love with my own heart, create in me a clean heart so I can love even those who caused me harm.
