Peace With God
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)
PEACE is the theme for this second week of Advent. Every devotional this week will be about PEACE.
In a world that often confuses peace with comfort or ease, Advent reminds us that peace is first and foremost a restored relationship with our Creator.
What It Is
Peace is the assurance that we are forgiven and loved. Peace is the state of harmony within.
What It Is Not
Peace is not earned by good works or human effort. Peace cannot be solely dependent on external circumstances.
Call for Action
Today, rest in God’s forgiveness. Release guilt and receive His peace. Let His peace wash over you, and then thank Him for the peace that comes from being His child.
May You Blessings
May you walk in the freedom of grace, knowing you are fully reconciled. May you rest in the assurance of God’s forgiveness. May you have a heart that echoes with gratitude for the peace Christ offers.
Pray This Prayer
Gracious Lord, thank You for the gift of reconciliation through Jesus Christ. Teach me to rest in the peace of salvation, not striving to earn what You have already given. Let my heart overflow with gratitude, and may my life reflect the peace of being Your beloved child. Amen.
