Read an excerpt from a book by our Pastor.

This book is not for everyone. It is important that I say that because there is a notion that we are monolithic, and everyone must agree. This book is for those who know who HE is.

I am watching Deon Cole who is an actor on the show Black’ish, and a comedian. He was doing his stand up on Netflix and he was joking about Black folk saying, “Won’t He do it!”. During the show he asked a white attendee who was “HE”, and the young boy didn’t know. Brilliantly, he explained to the gentleman who “HE” he was and told him to reply appropriately. When Black people hear ``Won’t He do it”, immediately they reply, “YES HE WILL!”. Cole explained this to the white gentlemen, and spoke into the mic and said, “Won’t HE do it?” and the white man replied, “YES HE WILL!”. The audience laughed and applauded. Therefore, this book is for those who know who HE is.

This book is for those who know how to reply, “YES HE WILL!”. More importantly, this book is for those who want to know who HE is and why is that. HE to many people is God. Not that God has to be masculine but God as the Ultimate authority. The authority in which Mom would say, “Wait until your Daddy gets home.” He is that authoritative figure that would make things wrong right. He is a Creator, the God of the Universe and God of all Gods. Won’t HE do it is a phrase born out of the experience of the African American Church.

This book is a testament to my evolution within the African American Church and how Christians should work together in love to establish God's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Serve. Affirm. Empower.

The message we share with our community.

Our Mission

The Way of the Lord Church Fellowship desires to emulate Jesus the Christ embodying His spirit of forgiveness, patience, self-determination, and Christ-image character in our condition of existence.

Our Vision

Our vision is that "in due time" we will transform the lives of our Joint Heirs, other Believers, our Neighborhoods, our City, our State, our Country and our world.

Our Goal

Our goal is to reach, liberate, reproduce, and empower youth, young adults, families and our elders by the Word of God to be salt of the earth and transform their communities into the Kingdom of God (Gen. 1:28).

A Message from Our Pastor.

Our Fellowship is celebrating 15 years in 2020. We have evolved over the years. What hasn't changed is our love God and one another. We still endeavor to teach the accurate Way of the Lord that serves, affirms, and empowers believers (Act 18:24-26). Our Fellowship models the first century church at Antioch (Act 11:19-30). This Church consisted of believers who had been persecuted by the Church and migrated to Antioch searching for love, liberation, and spiritual authenticity.

The Way of the Lord Fellowship teaches as it states in Proverbs 18:21: “The tongue has the power of life and death.” The stakes are high. Your words can either speak life, or your words can speak death. Our tongues can build others up, or they can tear them down. An unchecked fire doubles in size every minute. As the body of Christ, we have gotten complacent, and religious. God desired we return to our spiritual roots to equip believers to live free in Christ.

Thus, I introduce to some and reintroduce to others The Way of the Lord Fellowship… Be patient with us, we are still in process. We have a place reserved for you. Please come and celebrate with us the beauty of the Lord and the promises God has for your life.
